  This is a wonderful little park. It is most picturesque and beautifully maintained. There are a few interesting animals, a Shetland pony, an alpaca, peacocks and interesting chickens. There is a giant chess board, a beautiful children's playground, complete with cubby house, and a camp kitchen. Scenically placed in the Kangaroo River at Hampden Bridge, a photographer's delight. We gained a brilliant winter special on line so we paid $18 per night for a powered site. Thoroughly recommend. We will be back.

  Beautiful location. Hired kayaks and paddled down the Kangaroo River where the team here collected us and drove us back. A memorable experience!
